Volunteers Section

At North Jersey Federal, “People Helping People” is a philosophy that we firmly stand behind. Recently, those of us at NJFCU thought it would be a great idea to incorporate our members into our philosophy. As we continue to grow, we create more and more relationships within the community and our role becomes more significant. In doing so, we feel that your involvement in the community with us would make for an even more effective team. If you are interested in becoming a part of NJFCU’s community outreach program, see the list of events below and sign up via e-mail at marketing@njfcu.org.

Upcoming Events

School is right around the corner and unfortunately, some of the kids in our community will be returning unprepared for class. North Jersey Federal Credit Union and the United Way Foundation has teamed up to host the “Backpacks for Kids” event that will give members the opportunity to help send our underserved children back to school with the right tools for learning. How can you help? Donate any amount by visiting one of our branches and purchasing a Back to School Tag. All proceeds will go to the United Way Foundation of Passaic County. Donate new school supplies such as pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, etc. by visiting our Totowa branch and leaving items in the Donation Bin.

You also have the opportunity to reward your children for their good grades throughout the school year by opening a Kids Kash Club. Student’s ages 5-17 years of age can receive $3 for every “A” they receive on their report card. Or, take out a Back to School Loan and obtain all of the necessary school supplies your child needs for their journey back to school. For more information contact: marketing@njfcu.org
